National Novel Writer's Month

GENRE FRIENDING MEME!


Every year during NaNoWriMo we make a variety of friending memes. A big key to success is building a good support system. When you fail it's nice to have people there to fall back on who will encourage you to get back up and keep trying, and when you succeed... well... It is much more fun to celebrate when you have people to celebrate with.

Are you writing to get published? Maybe just for fun, or maybe you have something that has been plaguing your mind for years and you NEED to get it out on paper. We all have different reasons for participating next month, but regardless of the reasons we are all writing novels. And all novels have a genre, as convoluted as it may end up towards the end. Historical Romance with an Alien invasion and a War... oh, and they're all teens. We've got most genre's right there in one book!
Oddly enough, not all of us are starting our novels out with the goal of using every genre we can think of jumbled in to one. blah blah blah FRIENDS ARE GOOD!


The format for posting is similar to the other friending Meme's. In the subject line put your genre, then as a second comment below that put the specifications for your novel. If you are unsure of what I mean, look at the first comments as an example. :D
