National Novel Writer's Month

nanowrimois having its first annual (hopefully) icon/banner contest! The the concept is pretty simple.

Design a non flash coordinating Nanowrimo themed icon and banner that fits the key themes of nano.

IN OTHER WORDS:

Make something pretty that screams NANOWRIMO to you!

What signifies this run into insanity for you?!
Is it...

• copious amounts of caffeine?
• a decent into madness?
• sprints, sprints, and more sprints?
• becoming more of a hermit than Thoreau?
• or um, ya know, writing?

Here are the deets/rules: (cause rules help control the fun!)

1. Make a co-ordinating 100x100 icon and 300x500 banner that screams nanowrimo to YOU.

2. Icons - images, text, and theme must be G rated (no adult content).

3. Upload both to an image hosting site. We recommend http://www.tinypic.com or lj scrapbook.

4. Reply with them here in the comments with the following subject: Contest Entry.

5. Complete this by October 24.

I will pick my top three favorites and then the community will vote on their TOP FAVORITE. The winning (community favorite) icon/banner set will win an AMAZING NANO THEMED PRIZE. (Oh yes.)
